Born in London, Louis Browne spent his teenage years chasing the music scene around England. Playing in bands, and then shifting to photographing them instead, Louis has worked with artists from Billie Eilish to Mumford & Sons, Olivia Rodrigo to The 1975. Moving into commercial work, Louis has shot for Gucci, Mercedes-Benz and Calvin Klein, alongside featuring in publications like Rollacoaster, Wonderland, British Vogue and Rolling Stone.
When stills naturally grew into motion work, he threw himself head-first into directing campaigns for Adidas, Bulleit Bourbon, Dior, Nike and Vans that leaned upon his mixed-media approach and choppy, youthful style.
While Louis is now based in New York, he still calls Europe home. His most memorable shoot to date was asking Mike Tyson to ‘look more angry’ while standing centimetres away from his left fist. He's grateful to still be with us today.
Louis is represented by STADIUM in the US & UK. In Paris, Louis is represented by QUAD Group for motion, and Beam Photography for stills.
